The failures that hurt most are the quiet ones. Catching them early is the work.

- rust-connect A desktop-agnostic KDE Connect implementation in Rust: mutual TLS, a local REST API, and live interoperability with the stock Android app.
- pght: Pittsburgh hospital price transparency Five hospital files, 4.5 million rows, and every published figure re-executes from its own stored query against the live data.

Writing
- the $25 AI lab Fifteen AI models, a $25/year VPS, a URL-shortener challenge. Eight passed, and the code audit complicated what "passing" means.
- Network Tools Trilogy netgrep, termshark, wiregraph. Reading network traffic with tools built because the standard ones stop short.
- six problems, six languages, one AI Six exercises, six languages, 968 tests. The AI wrote the code; the architecture was mine.
